Data centers and computer rooms usually contain a raised floor allowing for cabling and systems management. However the raised floor is often unfinished where it meets the wall.  This can result is extensive loss of cooling and attract dirt and dust to collect under the floor.   The raised floor brush grommet provides both a seal between the floor and wall as well as a containment system allowing dust particles to remain above the floor and thus be filtered out through the data centers filtration system.

The wall edge pass through raised floor grommet can be easily mounted to an existing raised floor.  It comes in sizes ranging from 2 to 8 1/2 inch in half inch increments.  Brushes are stocked in 6 foot lengths and can be easily cut down to size. If necessary the brush can be cut with bolt cutters to crimp as appropriate. 

The right angle edge allows for the brush to be mounted directly on the raised floor. The dual brush system holds wires and cabling in place as it runs from underneath the floor.  As and when new cables are added to the data center they can be easily fed through the existing brushes with no additional effort. 

Using the raised floor brush grommets to seal wall edge pass through has proven to increase the efficiency of the data center cooling system. Cutting running costs and provided a fast ROI.
