| Data centers contain literally miles of cables.
The cabling provides both high voltage power to the room as well as network data
cables. Wherever the cables enter the room there is the possibility for loss
of cooling air as well as entry of dirt and dust particles.
Your data center may be equipped
with a suitable cooling system able to provide the capacity to supply
conditioned air, however, with improper delivery and containment, the system may
not be meeting its needs. This results in loss of computer equipment as well as
increased down time. |

ASSEMBLY

Whether you are retro fitting an
existing data center or sealing a brand new facility, many of the
cable openings are not the same size. With the flex-guard brush
grommet component system you can easily fit to size each of the
cable openings. Each component is stocked in 6 ft lengths for easy
handling and easy installation. You determine which mounting bracket
is best for your application; the long flange bracket for uneven or
damaged edges or the short flange bracket for new construction. If
you encounter high pressure or high air flow applications, each
bracket provides the option for 1 or 2 brushes and the many options
for brush length offer you the opportunity to provide the best seal.
The optional end cap bracket installation produces the finished
appearance where it is necessary.
Raised floor brush grommets prevent
unwanted leakage of airflow from your data center by sealing every cabling entry
point. The result is an increase in the static pressure in the under-floor
plenum making sure that the data center stays at a pressure above atmospheric.
Using the grommets maximizes your cooling system output making sure that all the
controlled air stays within your data center and reaches where you want it to
reach.
