STAPLE SET BRUSH TABLE
Brush tables are typically associated
with turret press operations, metal forming operations or metals
transfer motion; brush tables are manufactured in many designs.
Brush tables can be in all large pieces. Brush tables can also be
smaller in dimension and pieced together. Brush tables can be
square; brush tables can be rectangular, round or contoured.
Brush tables are available as a solid
base with tufts of staple set bristles. Brush tables can be modular
aluminum bases with strips of replaceable brush. Brush tables can be
a PVC base with strip brush inserts. The base of the brush table can
be of many small diameters with tufts of staple set brush. Each
brush table design has its own match. |

Staple Set Brush
Table |
Brush tables of the staple set design
are the most popular and provide the most features. This design of
brush table can be attached to a solid base or a designed frame.
This brush table can be made to any size simply by laying the
individual brush tables side by side and attaching them to the
framework. Brush tables typically have a 1/ 2” thick PVC or HDPE
base and these brush tables are held in place with some type of
socket head cap screws and countersink holes in the base. The brush
tables have a density of tuft patterns associated with the industry
and many brush tables can be and are easily altered to fit the
application requirements. The brush tables are used with various
gage metals and surface finishes. The brush table bristle can easily
be changed to fit the requirements of the application.
The brush table bristles are
typically black nylon. Special colors have been used call attention
to a special application or to indicate a hot area.
The brush table with the stapleset
design allows the metal be moved laterally along the surface in any
direction and orientated clockwise and counterclockwise. The brush
table provides a large surface for optimum load density and provides
desirable long wear characteristics.
These brush tables are stocked in
various basic sizes and also made to order. The brush table can also
include locating holes, fastening countersink holes and threaded
attaching holes.

Modular Brush Table |
MODULAR BRUSH TABLE
The brush table with modular
aluminum design provides very specific benefits. This brush
table is very flexible for surface control when there is
only one direction of travel. The brush table brushes are
individual and replaceable, the brush table brush have
various diameters that can be changed for a specific run of
metal surface finish. The brush table brush heights can also
be easily changed for a specific metal. The brush table base
is made of heavy duty aluminum and becomes part of the brush
table structure and allows for lightweight tables. The brush
table is available in 7” wide x 72” length and 3” wide x 72”
length.

PVC INSERT BRUSH TABLE
The brush table design that
is for insert application has the same desirable
characteristics of the aluminum modular brush table except
the base is PVC and is only one row. The brush table design
is a two part system. The PVC base does not need to be
changed each time the brush tables bristles wear out. The
brush table brush also available in various bristle
diameters to match the surface finish of the metal. This
brush table is available in 72” length and 4 stock diameters
of bristles.

BUTTON BRUSH TABLE
This brush table design called
button brush is most interesting with so many sizes and
designs only a few are stock. This brush table is usually a
round base of PVC or HDPE and a pattern of staple set tufts
in a circular pattern within a defined diameter. Simply
stated, this brush table design can be made to replace most
of the hundreds of transfer roller balls that have been used
up in the past years. The brush table design requires more
work and design to confirm weight distribution and load
carry capacities. The brush table density of the button
brush is crucial to ensure successful operations. This brush
table design is made in button diameters from 3/8” to 5”
diameter. |
